Sussex, Patricia Ann “Tricia” A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Patricia (Tricia) Ann Sussex, left this world at the age of 42 after a long battle with breast cancer, on August 3, 2020. She was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 24, 1978 to Charles “Chuck” David Stewart Sussex and Dena Lee (Ewing) Sussex. Preceded in death by her father, Charles “Chuck” Sussex; grandfathers, William DeBack and Fred Stewart Sussex; grandmother, Ocie Sussex; aunt, Linda Badgley; cousins, Kevin Myers and Paul Gerstung. Tricia grew up in Jackson and Michigan Center, Michigan where she attended Michigan Center High School class of 1996. Tricia began her employment at Book Crafters/Sheridan Books and was employed for 20 years; she had the reputation of the “Best Binder Operator” they ever had. She had many friends; friends that say she was an “amazing woman full of life, strong, kind and caring, a wonderful lady with a big heart”, she brought joy to so many. Tricia is survived by life friend and partner, Randy Brier of Chelsea; her buddy (dog) Bruno; her mother, Dena Lee Ewing and husband Tom of Michigan Center, step-brother, Andrew Ewing; step-mother, Sherry Sussex of Jackson; grandmother, Leora DeBack; sister, Lora Sussex and boyfriend Mark Hough, nephews, Tavian Gaddy and Carson Hough, niece, Madison Hough; sister, Alicia Sussex and boyfriend Troy VanAntwerp, nephews, Ashton Sussex and Jacob Sussex; step-sister, Shana Badgley (Darrell), nephews, Dylan and Derek; step-sister, Sara Rodriguez (Luis), nieces, Carolina and Kali Mees; aunt, Karen DeBack; uncle, Bill DeBack and aunt Susie, cousins Abigail and husband Nick, Gabriel, Alex and wife Keeley, Chase; aunt, Sandra Knight and husband Mike, cousins, Kevin, Paul and wife Chau, Tyler, Samantha, Jessica and Fiance’ Brad Fields, Melvin White Jr.; aunt, Susan Wade, Alan Wade, cousins AJ Wade, Danielle DeLeon and husband Ribelto, Kinsley, Kimberly Myers, Kalisha, Karley, Chase, Makayla; aunt, Debbie DeRushia, cousins, Brett, Brian and wife Nicole, Liam; aunt, Lois Schell and uncle Don, cousins John, Robert and Jodi; aunt, Shirley Lather and uncle Bill, cousins Rusty, Laurie, Lisa, Rick; uncle, Gale Badgley, cousins Terri, Trina, Darrell; aunt, Sandy Pratt and uncle Ed, cousins Debby, David; aunt, Sharon Mohlman and uncle Chuck, cousins, Penny, Tammy; aunt, Jackie Davis and uncle Bill, cousins Lesley, Lisa and Laurie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Lily Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1117 WG Wade Dr. Jackson, MI. No after reflection or meal will be served.
